Week 7 2nd day

As like as yesterday, our group is done very many things. Today, we are start to make a poster and already we write our group name and name and we draw two endangered animals and draw the text boxes on the poster and find the two pictures about environment. And when we draw all four pictures, we will gonna write some explanation about why that animals are endangered and why that environment is harm destroy. and at the left place, we will write about how we can help them and our central idea, lines of inquiry and key concept. And I think our art work is very good because we are not fight and do very well in our plan. But tomorrow, I think we are has to work on the exhibition script because we are done that only half way so we have to do it quickly.

Week 7 1st day

I think today, our group is done very many things. We are start to make a visual art artwork and already we done half way. And we finally done a plan about music and start to make a music. And we write all the assembly script and do assembly in successfully. Also we discuss more about our action. And I plan to send my google form to G6 and G5 when I come to home but my computer is not working. So I has to send this form at school. But I want the teachers in the Junior school so I will do this all work tomorrow when I get to school and have some pyp time.

Week 6 5th day

Finally, today is last day of spirit week. And today is clan color day. All the students has to wear their clan color clothes. And today is the day for calculate are the score for each clan. My clan is Gordon and in the G5, me, Sebin, Seohyun, Dahyun, and Hyesung is in Gordon. I'm little worry because G5 Gordon score is only 1. And Grant score is 5, Jonsthen(?) score is 4 and Bruce score is 3. And all the other clan score is 1. But when teachers are tell all the clan score, Gordon is a 2nd place with Duncun. First place is Grant and other two clan(I forgot). And Gordon score is more than 220 but I forgot the exact number. So I'm so happy and proud of it. I want every week is spirit week but I don't like a crazy hair day and backwards day.

Week 6 4th day

<Backward day>

Normally, this week is spirit day but I want to call this week 'CRAZY WEEK'. Because everything looks like fun but also crazy. I think. And today is most craziest day in this week. And also I've little confusing about today. Today is backward day and everythings are in backward. We has to walk backward and wear the clothes in backward. But most funiest person is Yujin.K. Because she wear the pants on her body and wear the red school hoody at her legs. And put her socks and shoe at both hands. It is very fun. Today, also I done very many thing. I done my writing, buddy class, and poster planning(kind of..). But I want our group is more cooperative and caring each other.

Week 6 2nd day

<Twin Day>

This week is spirit day and today is twins day. When the twins day, we makes the little group if we likes to be in same group and wear their clothes as like as real twin. It mean wear much as you can same clothes. So I'm do twin day with My best friend Dakyeong and G4 Myungeun. We wear the black and white stripes shirt. Also long blue jeans and blue cap. But in the morning, I'm little hard to wear the jeans because it is little tight to me. But I like this clothes because it is very fit to me and also Dakyeong and Myeongeun. But I'm little sad when other teams are pick up.

Week 6 1st day

<Crazy Hair Day>

This week is spirit day and all the days in this week is special day. Today is Crazy Hair Day. I think today, I'm only laughing at school because everythings are look likes fun. Because today is crazy hair day and everyone in Junior school students are make their hair crazy. In g5, I think Yujin.k and Yujin.C is the most craziest hair. Because Yujin.K make her hair as like as bad witch to use the wax. And on the Yujin.C's hair, there is nest, birds and small umbrella with a white wig. My hair is like this =>
When I do this hair, I feel little worry because I think this hairstyle is not fit with me but when I went to school, many friends said I'm looks beutiful and cute. So I'm happy but I don't want crazy hair day anymore. ;;

Week 5 5th day

Today, all the grade 5 are went to school center 2nd floor to have a middle school transition. But I has to leave at 8:50 because I have award ceremony in Jeju city about water day. So I can't do the schedule of middle school transition except first schedule. So I'm upset but Ms.Beard said we have more time for Middle transition day so don't very upset about it. When I came back from Jeju city, the time is already 1:35 and the school class is almost done. So I'm little happy and only korean and pypx is left. When I got out of tired, the class are already done. I'm little surprise because I haven't done anything.     ^^ HAPPY DAY~

Week 5 3rd day

Today, our group suppose to go on field trip to interview with Hanyeo, but we can't. Because the weather is rain so much and bad so we can't go and interview with Hanyeo and also tomorrow. If tomorrow weather is ok, we might be go but Ms.Archie said no because our plan to go in field trip is today but it's cancel by bad weather so no field trip for our group. So I'm little mad about rainy weather and sad because all the other group least go on one field trip except us. And no field trip mean, less information. So I'm upset and this is first time that I hate the exhibition.

Week 5 2nd day

  Today, we keep do on the research. Ms.Archie recommend
us to find a books from library and borrow it and find the information for our research. So I find some books about environment and animal rights at library website then I go to library to borrow the books. I make a list for 4 book, but I can find only 1. So I have to do more on the internet. After the recess, Ms.Archie tell us when we feel very tired and no idea in us head, you can has some rest by walk around, just sitting at couch, or go outside and have some rest. I think tomorrow, I has to do my research quickly because I never fill my research note yet. And also this week is last week for researching.

week 4 day 4 (transdisciplinary skills)

This week tuesday I went to library to watch G9's presentation. It was about windmill and I interested in it, so I listened careful. And maybe we can do this kind of project when we are G9 so I always focus on G9's presentation so I can do more easily. And also it will help my future learning.

<group decision-making>

Today, our group choose the place to go on field trip. So our group get some time to make our decision to choose the field trip. We don't want to fight so first, we came up with each person idea and vote for only one or two place. So we can choose the place to go to field trip in peacefully without big or small fighting.

<Planning>

Our group choose the place to go on the field trip so now we are began to planning. We will go to interview the Hanyeo in Seogwipo. But thy are very busy so we has to do fast in Wednesday and then we need our plan. And Jackie, who tell us 
other information about the Hanyeo, she said they are dive in 9:00 and come out to ground is 1:00. So we have time to interview is only 30min so specially we need definite plan for our field trip.

<Gross Motor skills>

When I do the exercise, I'm very easy to be fatigued so I need to build my physical strength.  So I have to do many exercise and I choose running. Because it don't need anything to do and very easy. So when I go to my home, I keep running. And when swimming class, I try it much harder . And when I'm in the home, I has a sport equipment so I do it. But I don't feel yet my physical strength so I will do it many weeks so I'm not fatigued easily.

Week 4 day 3

Today our group start to choose field trip that we are gonna go. But maybe other groups are already done to choose their field trip. Because we are very late at choose our research questions. So we has to do more faster at this step and catch up where the other groups are up to. We get four place that we can go, so we have some decision and choose 3 of them. It is Aquarium, animal shelter, and interview with Hanyeo. But we don't know why we go to apuarium except Mara. Because it is Mara's idea. And I know it is not related to our research question because I had been there. In Aquarium, it has many fish, animal i water, and other animals that live in Antertica and North Pole and never said about our research question.

Week 4 Day 2

Today, all the G5 went to library for watch the G9's presentation. I see the presentation about windmill. The G9 girls make a small windmill that make most of energy in same time. I think their work is very amazing about the process of make a wings. When the presentation is done, I want our group need more cooperation and communication. When G9 student tell us how they do this, they are always cooperate and communicate their ideas without fighting. But we are always fight, no communicate and not cooperate. If I has a time to do this, I want to do with very unique design of wings that also make a lot of energy in less time. But it would be takes many time to do.

week 4 1st day

Today, we finally start to choose our research question and also we made our team name. First, our team name is H.A.R.E. It's mean H,help . A, animal. R, rights and. And E, environment. I think this group name is very good. And it is also include to our central idea. And in recess, Ms.Archie and my group discuss about our interested in. And when we tell to Ms.Archie how we interested in, she suggested to choose other topic and change our central idea, lines of inquiry, and key concept. But we don't want it so I tell to Ms.Archie so we could do it. But still we are late so We had to do faster. I hope to be done with all the research question which other team up too.

week 3 5th day

 Today, we had a time to Ms.Gasperini came to our exhibition class time and tell us about how to use website 'http://www.easybib.com' and made a citation. For example, when I type in website at search box and click the button 'cite it', and this picture is came out then click continue. And it make citation and we put those in our google docs. I think this website is very useful and I want to tell to other people to use this website.

week 3 4th day

 I will tell about five transdisciplinary skills that I do in this week 3. This week, I used the group decision-making, formulating question, listening, reading, and presenting transdisciplinary skills. And some of the skills are do in special class. I'm very proud of my exhibition week 3. Because I do many transdisciplinary skills well.

I think group decision-making is not very important skill but it's also important skill to us when we do works in group. At tuesday,when we made our essential agreements, central idea and choose key concept my group are talk about it to make our group decision and we can have good essential agreement, central idea and key concept. We are never said their idea is best and talk together and choose to vote. So now, we can have very good(I think) central idea, key concept, and essential agreement.

I do my formulating question skill today when we are brainstorm team research question. I always think of best research question and also other team members. It has to be easy to research and relate to our central idea and key concept. So when times up, we can have all question least 1 for one person. So I'm very proud and satisfying about it.

I do listening and presenting skills in visual art and korean class time. During visual art time, Mr.Hammond explain us how to make print using many meterials. I thought it is llittle hard and complicated so I kept to hear all informations that Mr.Hammond tell us about our work. And in korean class, I do presenting skill when I present about Singapore famous tourist place using powerpoint program. I explain about Marina bay sands, Universal studio, and some more. Also I write my thought about that place so people will interest and want to go there.

I do reading skill almost everyday. this week, I read 'Rules' book. When I read book, I'm trying to understand all the summary, words, and sentences so I can write reading response well. And I'm choosing book that in my reading level and also what I'm interested in.

week 3 3rd day

Today, my group has a meeting with mentor. Our mentor is Mara's mom, Mrs.Bidder. I thought the time of meeting is 9:40, but is not and in recess. So we change our meeting time to recess time. First she suggest for 10:40, but we had workshop so we just do meeting at recess. So we meet at recess and talk about our central idea. Before we go to meeting with mentor, we had a time to made our lines of inquiry about our central idea and key concept. Like I said at latest blog, our central idea is 'humans impact on the enviroment can effect animal rights' and our key concepts are change, causation, and responsibility. And our lines of inquiry is first, Humans are responsible for animal rights. Second, Humans impact on the enviroment. And third, Humans, animal, and enviroment are all connect. But I'm disappoint about our teamwork. Cause Yunjin and Yeonjin, and also Mara is not very perticipate and play while I made lines of inquiry. I think we should do research question tomorrow because in the checklist, It's tell about create group name, lines of inquiry, central idea, essential agreements, meeting with mentor, and research question. And we left team name and research question so I think w
e are do that steps tomorrow.

Today is second day of week 3. Teachers says we will start to make team central ideas and key concept. We choose a global warming, animal rights, and pollution so my team had to write about something include them. We choose the key concept change, connection, and responsibility. And when we made our central idea, Mara gave her ideas first but it's not make sense but when we tell her she is angry and says just do with her ideas because she is only person had idea and if you want to do with your ideas, make your own ideas and only 5 min left but that is lying because there is 20 min and Mara's idea is really not make sense. So me and Yunjin gave our ideas and we choose with vote and Yunjin's idea is choose. It is 'Humans impact on the environment can effect animal rights'. And my idea is 'Humans are responsible for changing environment and animal rights.' Also we change our key concept change to causation. I think next time we will done with our central idea and start to make lines of inquiry and research question about key concept and central idea. Also I feel little fun about exhibition.

My exhibition group

Today, teachers are put us in our team member and team mentor. If your interest is similar, that people will in same group.  My team members are Yeonjin, Yunjin, and Mara. And my mentor is Mrs.Bidder. I interested in animal rights and pollution. And we start to make our team essential agreements. And I think most fun thing is to make our shield. We draw some our representations in our space and color them. Then we taped them on to table where my group will work. I draw smily face, phone, Ipad, Wifi, and color that I like. And when we all end, Mara color them with black and blue. At first, I said Mara to stop but she is not stop. So I got little angry but when she is done to coloring, it's look good. But I don't like the black color that Mara had color. But I think when I say "I don't like that" she will mad and also she already start to color our shield before we saw it.
